Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

WRITING GUIDELINES

The Journal of Food, Nutrition, and Health accepts scientific manuscripts in the form of research results, literature review results, articles or critical reviews in the field of food, nutrition and public health reviewed from various aspects.
The manuscript is a work that has never been published or considered to be published in other publication media.
The manuscript is written in standard Indonesian according to the improved spelling or in English, accompanied by an abstract in Indonesian and English. The abstract contains elements of the problem, objectives, methods and results, each no more than 250 words.
The manuscript is typed using the MS-Word program, Arial font, size 11pts, 1.5 spacing, left margin 4 cm, right margin 3 cm, top 3 cm and bottom 3 cm. The thickness of the manuscript is 8-13 pages including tables, graphs, images and attachments.

The manuscript is arranged systematically: Title, author's name (without title), author's address/institution, abstract (no more than 100-250 words and accompanied by keywords), introduction (covering the main problem/issue and purpose of writing/research), Literature review or theory (if any), research methodology or analysis method (if research results), results and discussion, conclusions and suggestions/policy implications, acknowledgments (if any), bibliography, and appendices (as needed).

Rank Section titles are stated in different fonts (all section and subsection titles are printed in bold or bold italics), and do not use numbers/numbers in section titles:

RANK 1 (ALL CAPS, BOLD, LEFT EDGE)

Rank 2 (Uppercase, Bold, Left Edge)

Rank 3 (Uppercase, Bold-Italics, Left Edge)

Tables and figures or graphs are made as close as possible to the review or discussion and numbered sequentially according to the references in the manuscript. If necessary, include the data sources used.
The bibliography only contains references referred to in the text and is arranged alphabetically from the first author onwards. For references referring to scientific journals or magazines, and proceedings, the author's name, year, title, seminar venue, publisher, page, and editor must be mentioned.

All manuscripts are reviewed anonymously by reviewers appointed by the editor according to their field of expertise. Manuscripts that are not published will not be returned, but will be notified to the author. Authors whose manuscripts are published are asked to pay a contribution of IDR. 500.000,- per manuscript.
Each author whose manuscript is published will be sent one copy and 2 (two) copies will be printed separately.
Subscription fee is Rp. 75,000,- per copy, including shipping costs.
